Jacob Rothschild, 4th Baron Rothschild (born Nathaniel Charles Jacob Rothschild on April 29, 1936 – February 26, 2024), was a British financier, philanthropist, and member of the renowned Rothschild banking family. He was the eldest son of Victor Rothschild, 3rd Baron Rothschild, and Barbara Judith Rothschild (née Hutchinson). Educated at Eton College and Christ Church, Oxford, where he earned a first-class degree in history, Rothschild was a member of the Bullingdon Club at Oxford.
